In 2014, MBUSA made history by achieving the highest annual sales. A volume of 330,391 units were sold for the Mercedes-Benz brand. From 2013 there was a 5.7% increase in sales. A total of 366,589 vehicles were sold by the end of the year, all-time record for MBUSA, a 6.7% increase from 2013.

MBUSA was founded in 1965, 13 years after the start of importation of Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Mercedes Benz has 93 locations worldwide and has production facilities in 17 countries.

In 2014, Audi was ranked the 45th most valuable brands in the world. Audi increased in value by 27%, and jumped 6 spots higher from their ranking in 2013.
